The Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry is one of the most effective nonprofits working for justice for animals in religious communities today. We support more than 40 established and emerging local chapters across the continent, promote spiritually-grounded respect for animal rights and welfare animals through a variety of programming, and provide supportive community for those engaging in animal advocacy and compassionate living. In the summer of 2024, our efforts led the Unitarian Universalist Association to revise its bylaws to state that Unitarian Universalists “covenant to protect Earth and all beings from exploitation.”
